Hawthorn University is an internationally recognized university where she obtained her MS in Fitness and Nutrition as well as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certificate from the International Sports Science Association. Ziegler is also involved in breast cancer awareness walks, being counselor at camp and also donating blood to Children's Hospital. TV actress and bodybuilder Ziegler was a part of Bones Castle Cold Case Hawaii Five-0. Dymatize is her sponsor as an athlete since 2015.
